Live a direct experience with a Costa Rican family, Miguel Leitón and Alicia Mendez, and their 11 children have created this wonderful place throughout their lives. Different dairy, agriculture, and coffee planting projects as activities to ensure the maintenance of the large family. In 1995, the family decided to open the doors of the farm to the public due to the interest shown by visitors when they came into contact with the biodiversity of the place, in addition to being located next to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve. In 2007, with the death of Don Miguel Leitón, the family decided to be faithful to the will that he made known before he died: which is to work together to conserve the land. Currently, the Este farm is a welcoming place for all those who wish to learn about life in the countryside of our country and conservation.
