Enjoy the Palo Verde National Park, this beautiful place contains the largest areas of wetlands in Costa Rica and ti is one of the best examples of tropical dry forests in Central America.

This day trip from Monteverde starts with ground transportation taking approximately 3 hours, so we will include several stops to stretch our legs or see places of interest. Once in the park, you will be able to admire this tranquil natural oasis from the comfort of a boat with an experienced nature guide. Along the Tempisque River, wildlife is frequently seen, such as huge crocodiles, monkeys, and beautiful tropical and aquatic birds, endemic and migratory.

After enjoying 1 hour and a half on the boat, we will continue with a delicious lunch and then we will have a small demonstration of guaitil crafts. This is a collection of clay crafts to admire and you will have the opportunity to buy some souvenirs.

Finally, after spending the day in this beautiful place, you will return to Monteverde along the same path.
