Aguti is focused on preservation and committed to the study of local and migratory species. It has reforestation projects and studies of species. Its name is due to its pet, the second-largest rodent in the world and locally called Guatuza (Aguti Paca) which is very common in the forests of Monteverde and important in the distribution of seeds.
